Our mission is to preserve, maintain and manage the Surf Ballroom, and to enhance the quality of life in the North Iowa area by providing cultural, educational and entertainment opportunities.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play a vital role in our day to day operations here at the Surf Ballroom. Since our change in management to a non profit in 2008, hundreds of volunteers have donated thousands of hours to our organization. Several volunteers have achieved recognition for donating more than 3,000 hours of their time – amazing!
It is with the help of volunteers that we are able to keep our ticket prices low, be open on Saturdays & Sundays throughout the summer months, provide faster service during concerts, and most importantly, show off our North Iowa hospitality!
